Health Insurance

Medicare is the Australian public health system, which provides cover/or 75 - 80% of the scheduled practitioner fee, for fairly extensive range of services.

Cover is not provided for many pharmaceutical and ancillary benefits outside hospitals including but not limited to chiropractic care, dental care and ambulance services. The Medicare system is quite sufficient but you should always consider just what you are and are not covered for.

Private health insurance is ideal for people preferring to know they will have cover immediately should a serious illness arise or for those who like to choose their own doctor.

Private health insurance is a very personal decision. If you would like to complete an Individual questionnaire an analysis of suitable Health Insurers will be forwarded to you.

A health Insurance package can be developed to suit the specific needs of business's wanting to offer a health cover package to staff. By completing an assessment on the HICA website a suitable package can be investigated.
