Industry Experience:   
John is the founder and Principal of the firm and has been in the financial planning industry since 1988. John established the practice with the philosophy of providing excellent services and working towards a long term, mutually rewarding relationship, with clients. 

John’s principle focus is ensuring that appropriate investment strategies, integrating all aspects of personal, legislative and economic conditions, are taken into account.

John has been an active participant in raising the standards of the profession, both within the industry and within the community.  John has been a member of the FPA Practitioners Committee, Towards Professionalism Taskforce and a past chairman of the education committee.  John has also assisted the Securities Institute of Australia develop its financial planning course and has acted as an educator and mentor for colleagues in the profession. 

Prior to joining the profession John had 23 years as an Educator with the Department of Education of Victoria, in the role of adviser/consultant to schools and the community.
