Aged Care

Clarity, confidence and peace of mind in aged care decisions

How We Help with Aged Care

Navigating aged care can be overwhelming — emotionally, financially, and practically. We make the process clearer, easier, and less stressful for you and your family by:

  • Explaining options simply – so you understand the types of care available and what’s right for your situation.
  • Clarifying costs – breaking down fees and showing strategies to manage them effectively.
  • Structuring finances – helping minimise fees, maximise entitlements, and ensure cash flow.
  • Supporting family decisions – acting as an independent voice to ease sensitive conversations and reduce conflict.
  • Protecting the bigger picture – ensuring estate plans reflect wishes, and avoiding unintended financial consequences.
  • Providing peace of mind – guiding you step-by-step so decisions are informed, confident, and respectful of your loved one’s needs.

Your First Step – The Initial Meeting

We start with an Initial Meeting to understand your situation and outline what aged care will mean for you and your family.

Cost: $770 (fixed fee)

What’s included:

  • Gathering all the key personal, financial and care information
  • Understanding your priorities and preferences
  • Providing a clear summary of the expected costs and fees on day one of entering care
  • Outlining the next steps in the process

This meeting gives you clarity from the very beginning, so you can make informed decisions with confidence about care options and financial planning.

This first step does not provide personalised financial advice. Instead, it highlights the main areas that need to be addressed which could include:

  • Whether to keep or sell the family home
  • How to fund accommodation payments
  • Structuring finances to manage cash flow and ongoing fees
  • Understanding pension entitlements and impacts
  • Considering estate planning implications

From here, you can decide whether to proceed with a full Aged Care Advice Plan. The cost of this plan will depend on the complexity of your situation and will always be agreed with you before we begin.
